    Common Errors:

    GTA:V/RAGEMP unexpectedly closes before entering the server.


    If we have this error when trying to enter the server, we must replace this file in the root folder of Rage Multiplayer.

    Remember that if you are an Epic Games user, you must keep the launcher open at all times. Execute the Epic Games launcher and wait for it to fully load, then open RAGE:MP and try to enter again.

    RAGE:MP stays on "Loading RAGE Multiplayer" and does not load.

    Verify NOT having any Overlay of active program (RivaTuner, MSI Afterburner, Overwolf...). In case you have it, deactivate it.
    Note: In most cases, RivaTurner or MSI Afterburner are the main causes of problems with RAGEMP. We recommend deactivating or completely uninstalling these programs before trying to enter RAGEMP

    Alternative solutions:

    • Set RAGE:MP to high priority in Task Manager.
    • Also, close any program that might be blocking your microphone.

    RAGE:MP stays on "Connection Lost" and does not load.

    1. Access the RAGEMP folder (Default: C:\RAGEMP)
    2. Search for the folder named (client_resources)
    3. Enter the folder and delete all the folders inside.
    4. Run RAGEMP from the direct IP: mundo1.gtahub.gg - Port: 22005
    5. Make sure you do not have MSI Afterburner or Rivaturner.

    Upon entering the server, the Rockstar logo is displayed but everything closes and there are no processes.

    To solve this problem, we must close all processes related to RAGE Multiplayer and GTA:V.

    After doing this, go to the root folder of our RAGE, open the client_resources folder, and delete all the folders inside, once this is done, rerun RAGE:MP and enter the server normally.

    RAGE Multiplayer runs as a background process.

    This error usually occurs on Windows 10 versions, verify that your operating system is updated. If your problem persists, close all processes related to RAGE Multiplayer and the platform where you have the original copy of GTA:V and try to enter again.

    RAGE Multiplayer opens in a black screen and stays on that screen loading indefinitely.

    You must do a clean uninstallation of the launcher. Delete all files related to RAGE:MP launcher, then install RAGE:MP on another storage unit, on the base disk, not inside a folder.

    E.g. "C:\RAGEMP" not C:\Program Files (x86)\RAGEMP

    RAGE Multiplayer Freezes After Trying to Enter the Server

    Your game might be outdated or have damaged files. Verify the files of GTA:V, and after completing this process, start the Story Mode for a few minutes and then try to enter RAGE Multiplayer.

    When Entering a Rage Multiplayer Server, GTA:V Story Mode Starts

    Ensure that RAGE Multiplayer runs with administrator privileges.

    1. Access the folder where you have RAGEMP installed (Default: C:\RAGEMP).
    2. Right-click on the file updater.exe -> Properties.
    3. Ensure the box "Run this program as an administrator" is checked under the "Compatibility" tab.
    4. Click "Apply" and "OK".

    After this, close all processes related to GTA:V and RAGE Multiplayer and run the updater.exe file again.

    RAGE Multiplayer Starts, but No Other Processes Initiate

    Your Firewall or a connection might be blocking direct server access. To try and find the problem, you can follow the steps below.

    1. Check that your connection is stable.
    2. Try using a VPN and restart RAGE:MP.
    3. Disable all processes related to your antivirus.
    4. Start RAGE Multiplayer as an administrator and try to enter.

    Mouse/Cursor Frozen in the Middle of the Screen

    Open GTA:V in story mode, go to your game settings and change your "Mouse Input Method" to "Raw Input". Then try to enter the server.
    You should set it to Direct Input in singleplayer. Then spend a few minutes "playing" and upon restarting the game, it should work properly.

    When Trying to Enter the Server, I Get a Black Screen or Stay on the Login Screen

    1. You should go to RAGEMP and then to its settings (three dots in the upper right corner).
    2. Then look for "Accelerated CEF Rendering" and disable it.
    3. Try to enter again.

    Your Game Version is Not Supported by RAGE Multiplayer

    This conflict usually appears when you don't have an original copy of GTA:V, or if the game is outdated.
    First, verify the game files to ensure that it's up to date, then enter GTAV Online, and if it works, try entering GTAHUB afterward.

    If it still doesn't work: If you're playing from the RAGE:MP launcher, go to the installation path (Default: C:\RAGEMP) and delete the file config.xml then run the file updater.exe as an administrator. RAGEMP will download a new config.xml file and update to the latest version.

    If the error persists, here are a couple of tips that might help with your problem:

    • Steam Solution
      In the GTAV root folder, delete GTA5.exe and GTAVLauncher.exe - then run PlayGTA5.exe and let the game start, then start GTAV singleplayer and try to enter via RAGE. If the problem persists, verify the game files.

    • Epic Games Solution
      Start the Epic Games launcher, go to your Library, click on the three vertical dots, and verify the game files. After this process is complete, start RAGE Multiplayer.

    If none of these processes are helpful, try reinstalling the game

    GTA V Installation Path Has Not Been Automatically Detected/Failed to Retrieve the Install Directory

    Press the OK button. Upon doing this, your default file explorer will open, and you should look for the root location where your copy of the game is installed, so RAGE Multiplayer can locate it.

    Clientside Packages Checksums Mismatch! Trying Again...

    Delete your client_packages folder located within your RAGE Multiplayer folder and try again.

    Master List Is Not Responding

    Go to the upper right corner of the RAGE Multiplayer launcher and use the direct connection to the server.
    IP: mundo1.gtahub.gg - Port: 22005

    RAGE MP: Can't Join Server. Trying Again...

    Make sure you have correctly entered the IP and Port of the server.

    FATAL ERROR: .NET Host Did Not Initialize Correctly! Please Reinstall RAGE Multiplayer and Ensure Its Files Consistency

    Make sure Windows is up to date. Download the following repair tools, and after the process is complete, restart your computer.

    Please Launch RAGE Multiplayer as Admin

    Close Steam / Rockstar Launcher and rerun RAGE Multiplayer in administrator mode. If the problem persists, restart your computer.
    For this, right-click on the file updater.exe and under "properties" --> "compatibility" activate the option to start as an administrator.

    RAGE Multiplayer Crashes/Black Screen and Closes After Joining the Server

    Close all background processes you may have on your computer, and disable any program that could be considered malicious and try to enter the server again.

    Windows Defender Detects Files of RAGE MP as Malicious and Deletes the File

    If you have downloaded the RAGE Multiplayer client from the official website, there should be no reason for concern, as it is only a false positive detection due to new files. You can simply add the launcher to the exceptions list in your antivirus. If this does not work, replace your files with the following ones.

    1. ragemp_v

    2. ragemp_game_ui

    3. ragemp_ui

    This will help prevent Windows Defender from deleting the files and allow the program to start normally, as each file is verified. If this doesn't work, start updater.exe as an administrator.

    Conflicting Programs or Overlays That May Prevent RAGE Multiplayer from Starting Correctly

    If you go to your Grand Theft Auto V folder, you'll find 'main_logs.txt'. Open it, and if you see 'FYDIGF' printed, this can also confirm that this is your problem.

    List of Programs:

    • Discord Overlay
    • Steam Overlay
    • Nvidia Shadowplay
    • OBS or recording programs
    • Overwolf
    • Antivirus
    • Streaming Programs

    Startup Error - Modified Windows Launcher Detected. (Kernel Patch Protection Disabled) - Easy Anti-cheat

    You must activate "Data Execution Prevention."

    1. Settings > System > Advanced System Settings > Performance Options > Settings > Data Execution Prevention > ACTIVATE DEP > Restart the computer.

    2. If you don't have the option to activate DEP, then BIOS protection has been disabled.

    3. Another alternative solution:
      Unsubscribe from the "Windows Insider Programme"

    It Indicates That I Don't Have Anti-cheat Installed

    1- Download the game Brawlhalla from Steam.
    2- Once downloaded, run it.
    3- Then re-enter GTAHUB.

    Stuck Loading Until Easy Anticheat, the Process Closes and Doesn't Open GTAHUB/RAGE

    This recurring error contains several factors depending on the established error, so it is recommended to follow these requests, try each one and retry opening the RAGE process upon completion.

    1. Check for any Antivirus software, external from other Windows software or even the same.
    2. Reinstall RAGE deleting all its files.
    3. Try to enter both through the launcher and manually through RAGE.
    4. Ensure no active Overlay is present.
    5. Verify GTAV from its content operator. (Steam/Epic Games/Rockstar)
    6. Enter GTA ONLINE and then return to the server.
    7. Reinstall Microsoft Visual C ++

    The Exception Breakpoint Has Been Reached

    In the CMD console, running as an administrator, try verifying the integrity of your files, in case there is any corrupt. Execute the command sfc /scannow then restart your PC and try again.
    You may also have problems with insufficient RAM, you can try solving it by setting up Virtual Memory using space from a disk, preferably SSD.

    Untrusted System File (libcef.dll)

    Usually, replacing a corrupt file with a good one solves the problem. Remove all modifications (mods) to the game that connect with the game's code, such as FOV, Reshade, ENB, etc.

    This software does not support .Net Framework 4.8, which is integrated into most operating systems. Go to Control Panel > Uninstall Programs > Turn Windows Features On or Off > Only activate the box for Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 (includes .Net 2.0 and 3.0), leave the 4.8 box deactivated.

    If the error persists:
    Check in "Device Manager" if your graphics card is functioning properly. If it shows an "error", you should install the factory drivers and restart your PC.
    Also, try reinstalling Visual C++.

    ERROR: Could not access game process. Shutdown Steam and try again.

    Close all processes related to RAGE:MP and GTA:V. Keep the Rockstar Games/Steam/Epic Games launcher closed. Navigate to the RAGEMP installation folder and run updater.exe as an administrator.

    JavaScript error occurred in the main process.

    This error occurs when trying to enter GTAHUB using our launcher.

    1. If this problem occurs, you should check that your antivirus/Windows Defender is not blocking the startup.
    2. You should remove the quarantined file from your antivirus and allow its execution.

    If the error persists, you can temporarily disable the antivirus to check if this is the problem (Not Recommended).

    I removed the mods and I can't enter

    If you have already uninstalled the graphical mods (e.g., NVE) and still can't enter, you should check the "Grand Theft Auto V" folder for any of the following files:

    • enbseries
    • shaderinput
    • d3d11.dll
    • d3dcompiler_46e.dll
    • enblocal.config
    • enbseries.config

    You should manually delete them and verify the game files.

    Error Code 7002.1 from Rockstar

    1. Go to the root folder of the Rockstar Launcher and GTA:V, then right-click on the following files:
      • Rockstar folder: LauncherPatcher.exe and Launcher.exe > Properties > Compatibility > Assign permissions to run the program as administrator
      • GTA V folder: Same procedure with the file gta5.exe
    2. Then go to the Documents folder > Rockstar Games > Delete the Launcher and Social Club folders (Do not delete the GTA:V folder).
    3. Try entering GTAHUB again.

    ERR_NO_LAUNCHER “Start Grand Theft Auto V with the Rockstar Games Launcher.”

    First, try restarting your computer. If the problem persists, follow these steps:

    1. Open the Windows Control Panel.
    2. In the Programs tab, click on Uninstall a program.
    3. Right-click on Rockstar Games Launcher and select Uninstall.
    4. Right-click on Rockstar Games Social Club and select Uninstall.
    5. Open Windows Explorer.
    6. Locate and delete these folders (if any are missing, you can ignore them):
      * C:\Users[username]\Documents\Rockstar Games\Social Club
      * C:\Users[username]\Documents\Rockstar Games\Launcher
      * C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Launcher
      * C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Social Club
      * C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\Social Club
    7. Reinstall Rockstar Games Launcher from the Social Club website, ensuring you do so in the default location.

    Also, make sure the "VANGUARD" process is closed if you have it installed.

    Error: Game injection has timed out

    1. Restart your PC or ensure all instances of GTA V & RAGEMP are closed.
    2. Go to Documents (usually located on your root drive, where the operating system is installed), find 'Rockstar Games', open it and delete the "Social Club" folder.
    3. Open updater.exe (located in the RAGEMP folder) and try to connect to GTAHUB.
    4. Rage will open the Rockstar Games launcher and ask you to log in to your Rockstar Games account.
    5. After that, you'll notice that RAGEMP has stopped, reopen RAGEMP and finally connect to GTAHUB.

    Launcher detected as a threat IDP.Generic

    If you have downloaded RAGE:MP from its official site or the same case with the GTAHUB launcher, you shouldn't have any problems. It may be a false positive detected by Windows as it does not recognize the file.
    You will need to update your antivirus to the latest version to resolve this issue.

    Seeing blurry or transparent text

    This problem is solved by uninstalling extra font packages installed on your PC. For example: MONTSERRAT

    If your problem persists or is not listed above, try the following options:

    • Perform a complete uninstallation of the RAGE Multiplayer launcher, and reinstall it.
    • Verify the game files or, if necessary, reinstall GTA:V.
    • Run RAGE Multiplayer with administrator permissions.
    • In Rockstar Games, right-click on it > Properties > Compatibility > Disable the option "Run this program in compatibility mode"
    • Ensure that no modifications (mods) have been installed, even if you previously installed mods and tried to use software to 'remove' these mods, some files may still be modified and cause RAGE Multiplayer to block their use.
    • Ensure you have an existing save file in story mode, if you start a player and begin the introductory missions, this means you do not have one.
    • Disable your antivirus/firewall or add an exception for RAGE Multiplayer.
    • Connect to a VPN and start RAGE Multiplayer and connect to your server through the VPN.
    • Update your Windows to the latest available version.
    • Ensure you have installed the required redistributables:
      1. Visual C++ Redistributable
      2. Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6.2
    • Have "Nvidia Shadowplay" turned off
