Organisation Overview:
The Cartel is an international crime organisation that is among some of the most powerful Crime syndicates in the world. Operating from Los Santos the organisation is notoriously well known for their involvement in criminal ongoings within the city, from extortion to Weapons & Drug trafficking The Cartel’s illegal operations have made a firm footprint on the streets of Los Santos.

History:
The Cartel was officially Established in 1947 by brothers David & Jason Catchfraze, During the events of World War 2 when the opium trade routes from India and France were blocked from entering Los Santos, 2 young street criminals from within the city took a leap of faith into the drug trade. With no opium entering the city they decided to set up a base of operation in the Grand Senora Desert. A few months later with their poppy fields blooming they started flooding the streets of Los Santos with Heroin. Fast forward to 1964, with many years gone by The Cartel was now the number 1 distributor of Heroin, Cocaine & Cannabis in Los Santos, with wars raging for control of the streets David & Jason were arrested during a shoot out at a property in Mirror Park where they were sentenced to life in prison for drug & murder charges. They continued to run The Cartel from inside the walls of Bolingbroke Penitentiary up until Jason died in 1975, After the loss of his brother David decided to pass the family business down to their sons who controlled the business up until 2017.

Present Day:
Now under leadership of cousins Brandon Catchfraze & Tazzy Kr Grandchildren of David & Jason, The Cartel Operates with a more subtle approach focused on Controlling the Streets of Los Santos from the shadows, with a network of warehouses distributed across the city harbouring illegal contraband The Cartel aims increase their presence outside the city and control the Import/Export of Drugs & Weapons across Los Santos.

Territory & Influence:
The Cartel operates out of Grand Senora, However their influence extends Across various sectors throughout the city where they subtly and strategically recruit new members for the organisation.

Operations:
Drug Trafficking - The Cartel has a significant impact on the drug trade in Los Santos, Ranging from street level drug deals up to large scale distribution of drugs such as Cocaine, Heroin, Cannabis & Methamphetamine.

Gun Trafficking - in 2017 The Cartel expanded their operations in the arms race for weapons in Los Santos providing everything from handguns to assault rifles.

Organisation Structure:
The Cartel’s Hierarchy system ensures each member has multiple opportunities to grow and earns accordingly at each level in the system, each member plays a key role in the system and all members are valued equally. Wether it be a lieutenant or a street level dealer everybody has their part to play in The Cartel.
